How to win faceoffs in Casey Powell Lacrosse 16. The faceoff mechanic is similar to rock paper scissors with each move trumping another one. There are four moves available to you which map to your Right Stick. When a face off begins chose a move by moving your right stick either Up, Down, Left or Right. Your aim is to get your player in the Arched Position long enough to win the faceoff. When selecting a new move do not rotate your stick to the next position instead recenter your stick and then move it. If you keep your player in the Arched position you will win the faceoff and the ball will travel in the direction that your stick is held.
